Women in Planning (WIP) brings together women across finance, supply chain, planning, data and technology for conversations that challenge perspectives, knowledge worth sharing and connections that go beyond the room.
Through curated events and a growing professional community, we create space for women to exchange experiences, explore new ideas and shape the future of their industries.
OUR STORY
It started with a simple belief: we grow stronger together.
Founded in Sweden in 2022 by Carolynn Mutashi, Madeleine Simonsson and Loreen Okoth, Women in Planning began with a shared vision: to bring women in planning and connected industries together to learn from one another, exchange experiences and build meaningful professional relationships.
We believed there was room for more than another networking event. We wanted to create spaces for conversations that mattered, where women could share knowledge, challenge perspectives and connect with others who understood the complexities of their professional worlds.
That belief continues to shape WIP today.
As our community grows across markets and disciplines, our purpose remains the same: to bring women in planning together to share knowledge, build networks and drive growth.

Curated events and conversations

Three founders. One shared vision.
Women in Planning was founded by three professionals who share a belief in the power of knowledge-sharing, meaningful relationships and spaces where women can learn from one another.
Carolynn Kulecho
Co-Founder
Carolynn brings experience in enterprise sales and planning technology, working with organisations to understand their challenges and explore solutions that support better business decisions.
Through Women in Planning, she is passionate about creating opportunities for women to exchange perspectives, build professional relationships and learn from one another across industries.
Madeleine Simonsson
Co-Founder
Madeleine brings experience in analytics, financial performance management and enterprise customer success. Her work connects technology and data with the business needs they are designed to support.
As a co-founder of Women in Planning, she is committed to bringing women together across finance, technology and connected functions to share knowledge and broaden their perspectives.
Loreen Okoth
Co-Founder
Loreen brings a background in supply chain, operations and business leadership, with experience spanning operational delivery, demand planning and customer care.
She is passionate about building effective, people-focused operations and creating spaces where women can exchange experiences, learn from one another and grow professionally.
Together, we are building a community shaped by shared knowledge, different perspectives and a belief in the value of bringing women together.
